I've been all over the U.S. I was once asked, in my opinion what ghetto is the most ignorant. Not most violent, not most poor but most ignorant. I would have to say Los Angeles area. Non gang affiliated citizens of Watts, Compton and South Los Angeles fear ignorant youths and even some grown over 30 adults who trip over where they are from. Many Black Californians are shocked at large black gatherings in the south, north and midwest that don't have trouble. Yes we can all get along without violence...just maybe not in southern California
